Im currently 8 months pregnant due in January. I havent been able to see a doctor for 3 months because Ambetter will not reinstate my plan after I was denied for Medicaid.
They literally want me to wait until January to enroll into my plan as if my baby cant come any day! WORSE COMPANY TO ENROLL WITH SO PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY AND GO WITH ANOTHER INSURANCE. This company will leave you for dead!
No one has yet helped me in this situation and seems competent enough to do so and all the do is transfer you to different representatives without getting an answer. TERRIBLE COMPANY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PREGNANT WOMEN!!!

I signed up with a super *unt that was only looking to make her quota... I signed up, got approved, and received the "My health pays" card.
I called to find out why my card wasn't working at Walmart.. I was told only "Georgia residents" can spend the money at Walmart.. Not Floridians... I live in Florida...She was full aware of that when I signed up..I asked if I would be able to spend my money on several different things.
Which was a bold face lie!!! Why sign me up for something like that?? She lied and assured me that I could spend the money on groceries, etc .
This company is simply Trash!!! Don't waste your time!!!

En enero 2023 comencé con Ambetter. Es la primera vez que lo tengo.
Mis pagos eran debitados automaticamente. Nunca me diò con chequear mis estados bancarios hasta un día, en julio, que veo que lo han debitado tres veces. Me comuniqué con ellos, solicité un rembolso y cancelé el pago directo.. Para mi sorpresa, en agosto y los meses siguientes, lo seguian debitando a mi cuenta.
Todos los meses, hasta el día de hoy, tengo que llamar para pedir mi rembolso porque lo pago con otra cuenta. El rembolso de noviembre aún estoy esperàndolo. Qué falta de respeto de esta compañía de meterse a las cuentas para hacer débitos no autorizados. Eso en mi pais se le llama ROBO.
Ansiosa porque termine 2023 para no tener este problema más. No lo recomiendo.

The worst customer service in the world! Not an understatement.
The training at these places must be nonexistent. I have spent HOURS and HOURS on the phone just to be hung up on or put on hold for HOURS with no check back. Claims are constantly denied at places that are in-network, and I have to spend hours on the phone just to correct it, and I do not have free time. I don't even want to go to the doctor anymore!
The customer service people are THE WORST and clearly, they all hate their job and take it out on others. I've had them for over a year and this is a constant issue. They also let some broker who was unauthorized switch my insurance plan without my consent!
I had to fight to get it switched back over, only for them to let him do it again! This "insurance" is a living nightmare.

Took payment but canceled insurance
Took payment but was not applied to account. Called customer service ( could not understand any representative as they speak broken English) they took another payment and then had a credit on balance.
Went to use it and was denied. Spent 3.5 hours trying to get to the bottom of this only to be told to call back in a week. Is all they can do is put a ticket in. Asked to talk to supervisor, was told they were one.
Asked to talk to their superior then told there was non!!
So can not fill my prescription because I now have no insurance and with out insurance it costs $1600. And this prescription is vital for my health.

I have Ambetter silver which is almost like Medicaid.. I cant find a PCP doctor that accepts my coverage!!
Most of the doctors are Orlando Health affiliated!! I was told that Orlando Health is No longer accepting new patients as of 3 months ago!!! Like 90 percent of them are Orlando Health, and Ambetter still has them listed as accepting new patients!! The ones that are not affiliated with Orlando Health that say in network, are actually out of network!!
Ive called 30 different doctors and Ive given up!!
I called customer service 5 times and theyre even lost and confused!!! All I gotta say is You suuuuuck!!!

I have been in bed over a year and a half with degenerative and that disc disease and osteoporosis did all the therapy possible nothing is helping Im doctor said I have an 85-year-old back anyway I waited this long to try to get some relief I was hoping to get surgery, but he said its not in operable. He sent me to a pain specialist Which I had to have somebody drive me three hours away just for someone to take me there and get there they did the review and said what I needed and its coming up denied.
I actually denied for a urine test and for the procedure Im supposed to have on the 24th . Ive never been denied with any other insurance before. I have waited a year and a half to get some relief. I need you to call me at 704-682-****.
Im supposed to drive down three hours to get this procedure done on the 24th. I need an answer ASAP.

You experienced a life change by losing your Medicaid. You can enroll at any time when this occurs.
